GOD GIVE ME STRENGTH, cambrai 1917
hi all, over the last couple of months i have been building this vignette and its the first time that i have converted figures, they were originaly a russian ww2 tanker
being rescued by a russian infantryman,i think they were from minart resin and they were god awfull,i started by cutting of the heads and removing all detail with a dremmel grinder, pockets and other parts of clothing were rebuilt using tamiya masking tape and superglue and new heads from hornet, the markIV is from tamiya and built from the box,i added scrapes and pitting with the dremmel again, the base is built on a box picture frame,it is about 95% finished
here are some pics of GOD GIVE ME STRENGTH so far.
thanks for looking

Nice vignette but I think that if it is an emergency rescue, likely the wounded tanker wouldn't have been dressed yet.

Nice work. The figure conversion couldn't have gone better and building up the base and having the tank overhang it gives it a sense of urgency. Love it.

Most impressive
Maybe the medic found him left behind inside the tank and wrapped him up a little before pulling him out?
Using masking tape for uniform details is a fantastic idea. I have to try that some time.

Excellent work. Nothing to say that the tanker hadn't already had a head wound from a previous action

thanks guys, gary i will get some pics together and send them you,my thought on the figures is that the medic has been inside the tank and dressed the head injury before dragging the poor guy out.
