AK-47 Series weapons 1/35

Post by Mark Aldrich »

Besides the ShangHi Dragon set, Tamiya M113 ACAV, Academy's M113A1 Vietnam (I think), and TaHk, does anyone else produce AK-47s? Not impressed with Dragon's and I can probably order the Sprue from the Tamiya ACAV and luckily, there is one EBAY seller selling one of the AK sets from TaHK however, I am actually surprised no one makes a set. Does Dragon have a figure set (besides the Modern Naval Infantry) that might have some?

I saw an add for a new set the other day and now i can't find it. Contained fairly modern AK-47's though.

The AK-47 range would be a great subject for Live Resin to tackle!

I completely agree!!! I have also found out Black Dog, Maim and italeri make some too. Black Dogs are a bit pricey ($20.00) and all special OPS and Maims didn't look that great in the picture and I am sure Italeri's won't be that hot either. Think I will just get some of the TAHK ones.

If you can source them, Verlinden had some AKs in a white metal set of Russian/Soviet weapons.
