Mark, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I understand how tough that can be.

Philipp, I hope everything works out for you soon. Modeling is definitely the best medicine.

Condolences Mark

Sounds like many modelers will benefit from your Dad's collection

Shame about the finished work though.

Take care

Regards

Steve H

Keep your chin up Philipp.

I'm here and still posting but not as often. Haven''t been as productive these past couple weeks as I like. Picked up a case of carpel tunnel in the dominant right hand. Work related. Needing to rest the rist.

The weather is also starting to cool off around here so time in the un-heated garage which includes painting and most weathering will come to a halt soon.

Winter is my big build time but with the wrist, I don't know. :?

Ouch! I hope your hand gets better soon, without the need for surgery! :?

I have the impression even the bigger modelling websites are a little slow right now. I hope it's a seasonal problem...

My weekend is filled with other stuff to do, otherwise I'd be back at the bench. Raoul and I are going to visit a hobby show tomorrow, I'll take some pictures 8-)

Most forums have lower participation and I've seen the downward trend on in the MaK forum I own. Most form software can't compete with the ease of use of Facebook i.e uploading images, special interest groups, instant language translations, blocking annoying assholes, convenient app right on your phone w/o a browser etc.

My forum hosting has been a money loosing hobby since the beginning because I refused to allow advertising.

When ever I post new progress photos, I usually post on forums a couple of days before I post on FB.

Personally I prefer forums, but I also prefer reading books with real pages so...
