Steve- I can't take all the credit for the good feedback. Woody brought it up in a PM he sent me.

I have been thinking about it since we started but I thought I might be the only one. :?

Steve, in my PM to Shawn i said i thought it would be great to have the next group build laid out like the Research Forum in which there is sub forums for Axis, Allied....etc and then they have threads for individual topics.

Still keeping the main site Group Build Forum, we could then have a sub forum of the group build topic/theme which in turn would have in it threads for each participants project.

The two group builds have great tips, techniques and research that is getting lost in the rapid addition of thread pages. It's fantastic to see the builds getting so much attention, but a change to the group build format will really improve it in my opinion.

Loving the vibe and energy in the two groups though :D

Well I hate to bring this up but are we going to do another GB starting 2-1-14?? Not that my first one will be done. 8-)

If so we need to pick a topic by the end of the month. That will give everyone a month to get things together.

If we do another one lets have it in the GB section but allow everyone to have their own blog to make it easier to follow.

My thoughts as well. At least with the curent number of entries it's getting a little confusing at times. But maybe if we could split the crowd into three topics...?

Concerning suggestions for the next round, here are my favourites:

1) KV
2) Panzer IV
3) Churchill

(still slightly optimistic about being done on time)

I'm going to respectively sit this one out. There are too many unfinished projects needing attention.

Sorry Team

I don't have any unfinished builds. :D :D :D Sorry!

I was thinking something completely different.

I like the idea of two topics it draws in more folks. So lets pick a subject for One topic lasting 6 months.

Then for the second topic lets do a two part build lasting a total one 1 year.

First 6 months lets build a Mini Art building. It has to be a building. We don't see a lot of these built because I think a lot of folks see negative comments about them. They are sometimes a PITA to build but can turn into a nice model.

The second 6 months we will build at least 1 vehicle and 2 figures to place the base. Any topic, Any era This gets folks to try some figures and takes care of the figure proposal for a GB. Plus we can build any vehicle we want. Can't be any broader than that.

Just a thought

I would need to pass on the Miniart buildings. I have built several for reviews in IPMS and I thought they were pretty cool, but they do not make any for Middle East Wars. They have the North African one but that is huge and could only be used in the Egyptian Syrian side.
