Plastic Armour 2.0
I must confess this happened a lot faster than expected.
I've set up some sort of prototype for a new and improved main site. It's by all means not yet finished, but at least the basic functionality seems to work. I should mention that my previous website coding experience was back in the olden days of barebones html, long before arcane dark magicks like php were a thing....anyone remember Geocities?
Anyhow, witness its glory here: http://phgross.dashosting.de/plasticarmour/
Once all the bugs are ironed out and the layout is a little more user friendly we can start migrating the whole setup to PA's own server.

Not letting the grass grow under your feet
Initial impression is really good - will have a better look this evening on the PC. Trouble with current host is it is a little restrictive design wise - need another hosting option as you say.

Re: Plastic Armour 2.0
I just wanted to install the software package on the server and somehow this happened
It was a lot faster and easier than I expected. I can give you access too if you want to experiment a little
Putting up the same on PA's server should be easy enough, as long as it supports FTP uploads and SQL databases. Mine was free and it does.

Re: Plastic Armour 2.0
Thanks
90% of the site is a prefabricated WordPress theme. I might yet pick something else, there are hundreds to choose from.
The good thing about WordPress is how easily you can add new posts, almost like the forum itself. In theory I could give all of you access so you can add your new stuff yourselves

Re: Plastic Armour 2.0
It's an attractive page Philipp.
Can you leave the Forum, Gallery and About us links at the top? I thought you had removed them, till i decided to go to the very bottom. Maybe it is different on a computer than my phone?
