Re: Plastic Armour 2.0
Thanks again
I see what you mean Woody, this happens on the mobile version. The same links (without pictures) are also in the navigation bar at the top. I'll take a look if I can change the setup somehow once I get back home

Hey Philipp, forget everything i said!
I just got on the computer and the layout is completely different to on my phone. Where the FORUM, GALLERY and ABOUT tabs are on the bottom of the page on my phone, they are situated nicely near the top left on the computer. Can't miss them! Perfect!

Re: Plastic Armour 2.0
You can test it on your PC as well, just make the browser window smaller and the layout will change by itself.
Gary has entrusted me with the site's login data so I can prepare for making the update in earnest. However I promised I won't touch anything until he's back

While it would be nice to have the first official PA meetup at my doorstep I would prefer one without pitchforks and torches

Nah, Gary could not have left us with a better person in charge. You're doing a great job

Re: Plastic Armour 2.0
Gentlemen,
Gary and I have agreed on a slight change of plans concerning the site's future. No worries, we'll keep it going, just slightly different.
Instead of making changes to the site, I'll build a brand new one on a different server, which will also be quite a lot cheaper to rent. Unless we need a dramatic increase in server space, annual upkeep should be less than 100€. The overall layout will be as previously seen on the experimental site. Once everything is running smoothly, we'll hopefully be able to port the forum, with every single posting and all login data intact. Once everything is done, we'll pull the plug on the old site. If things won't work as planned and we'll have to start from scratch, we'll have at least enoug early warning to make sure everyone can save all you need from the old forum.
The current server still runs for five more months, after that we won't renew it again. With the old site gone, ownership of the whole thing will pass on to me.
Hopefully I'll be able to build the new site soon, most of all because my free time will be somewhat limited during the next few months for various unrelated reasons. But I'm fairly optimistic we're on a path to a great future

In your hands Philipp
Looked good, so far.
Most of the old forum posts have been butchered by the PB farce!
A new start would be positive
Just looked at my Stug 0 conversion
Last post May 2015!
embarrassing!
keep up the sterling work
regards

Looking forward to it Philipp, the PB fiasco has ruined a lot of good info on other forums as well,
