First off Vincent that is some really impressive figure painting for it to be your first figure. :o :o

I have not bought any 3D figures yet but I have considered buying some from this same company. I am a little concerned now seeing those horizontal lines. Is that a come occurrence for 3D figures? Looks like it would require alot of clean up.

Thanks Shawn. I really appreciate that given your excellent painting skills. :)

The lines are not as pronounced in real life and as usual, the camera intensifies everything. Looking at it from a normal perspective the lines are hardly noticeable. I'm thinking that a better primer, even a very light sanding in obvious areas, may well improve the finish. Reedoak figures are a bit expensive but the range is expanding and it doesn't take a lot of effort to get a decent result. I'm living proof.
