What color was the primer

The Mercedes benz's were supposedly primered a different color than the red oxide primer , anybody know what that color is ?

I got some replies in anothere forum and they stated that it was a gray primer for the Daimler Benz , I think I'm going to go with that color .

It seems a very specific question, I hope it will help to a build of some kind?
We are still building up the resources at PA, sometimes the answer is out there but out there just somewhere else

Somewhere inside this head of mine , I had ran into that question . I just could not retrieve the information . But I was sure that Mercedes were not red oxide primered . The other fire truck , the L1500S . I'm still waiting for another set of wheels for that animal , right now it's back ordered at Hobbyeasy.com .
