Looks good to me
Sorry to hear about the primer problems. I've been using Games Workshop spraycans, this stuff sticks to everything and doesn't come off, even if you don't wash the plastic beforehand.

Philipp / Jan,
Thanks for the heads up fellas. I'll look it up and see if I can get a hold of some to try out on the next build.

The fuel tanks and bombs are nice, but that cockpit is amazing.

I'll post some more photo's as soon as the new roof is on. A storm gave me an internal water feature which happened to be next to the work bench.
No damage to the Hellcat, just my wallet has a leak of it's own.

Re: 1/32 Trumpeter F6F-3 Hellcat
I am going to call time on this. With everything that went on around this build I neglected to take pics of my progress, albeit a bit of a rushed completion to get it off the bench. Not 100% how I wanted it to look, but I'm still happy with it and I had a lot of fun with the painting experiment.
That's that, hope you all like it.

That's really nice Michael. All the effort you put into the weathering has paid off big time. Well done

Nice build Michael, the black basing does give a nice faded effect to the final finish.

Even if you don't 100% like it's an amazing result you got there.
