G'day from Victoria, Australia
Thanks for the add to this forum.
I have been modelling for a good 30 plus years, my interests vary in all avenues of modelling from Armour to Aircraft to cars and truck and I also dabble a bit in Warhammer.
My armour interests are mainly 2nd World War German, particularly 1/35 Panzer 4, Panzer 3, Stug 3 and Half Tracks. I have an interest in Australian post WW2 artillery, in particular 25 Pounder Field guns.
My Aircraft interests are mainly German WW1 and 2 Piston engined and Allied fighters and bombers. Scales 1/72 and 1/48.
My Car interests are mainly Sprintcars and other dirt track open wheel categories. I was at one stage designing artwork for models and having decals produced.
Warhammer 40K Space Marines, Fantasy, Forgeworld and ORK figures are my favourites.
I'm currently building 2 Stug 3 B's and an SDKFZ 253.
I dont think any of my completed models are box stock, I enjoy modifying and scratch building. I scratch built a few Panzer 4's from the old Tamiya 4D kit before Dragon came along and released a lot of what I had already in my collection. I no longer belong to a club, it's been about 16 years since I last went to a club meeting. I just enjoy tinkering away at something different.
Looking forward to seeing your creations.

Hello David!
You will find a lot of people here who never build anything direct from the box.

Welcome David!
Your interests look like they're just my fields (with the exception of the cars and supplant planes with dreadnought-era warships ).
Apparently a little excursion into the 40th millennium comes automatically if one likes armour .
Make yourself at home here, sit down in a comfy spot and by all means show us some of your builds!
Best regards
Raoul G. Kunz
