i wondered where all you guys had gone
hi chaps
hope your all good
im still building eastern european stuff, mainly scratch and resin ,and the odd conversion of plastic kits into the odd radar and missile complex nothing changes
ive been over to the dark side as well with wingy things to better my painting with good results .
still toiling away at work, working away from home all the time . so nothing different there either.

Re: i wondered where all you guys had gone
oorr have you missed me guys
thanks for the welcome back ...
ive come to the conclusion that although model making is a pretty solitary pass time.and a quiet one that for me is a major chill out from the hum drum of work and her indoors.
i think you really do need to be on a forum of one type or another with the support from other forum members it encourages you to build and complete models ,where on your own you tend to shelve projects that in truth never see the light of day when put back in the box and slid under the dreaded shelf of shame.
since the dissaperence of the last forum i have started a few scratch and resin models that are not complete and probably never will ..i tried going down the armourama route... and not for me.... theres 6000 to many rivet counters ,wanabees that just rip a new kit to pieces and complain this is wrong, this is missing..instead of getting there head into it and find a way to sort it.
or even live with it..at the end of the day its your work and your impression of that particular vehicle.if your happy with the finished model, willing to take constructive critisism then so be it.
looking through the posts here its pretty much like going back to the other site same peeps and same quality of builds .so i will slot in here no problems and hope you enjoy and take back anything i can offer the forums with any posts i make on the site .
