...I'm back...

Post by Raoul Kunz »

Greetings,

My name is Raoul Gerald Rudolf Kunz, I used to be a fairly frequent poster here then I took an arrow... oh wait...

No really - I was pretty much away for quite a while because I was preparing for my journeyman's examination.

Here's me with my journeyman's certificate =>
Image
(Yeah I know I'm squinting like a kitten... I hadn't slept the day before, been there already for 6 hours to get the info if I actually had passed so... yeah... kitten-squinting, just not as cute  )

And here's the shoe I built to get it =>

Building a whole pair of shoes in 12 hours with another 4 for an inlay was... kind of stressful... layered leather sole and heel and all that... of course no one forced me to do this, but it does look pretty...

Anyhow, now I'm back.

I think I'll start building something simple, unlike the bloody Italeri IV F2 I did before I commenced with the intensified version of the whole paranoid learning business  .

I'm thinking DML IV H or III L, something that's not too involved... I'll end up doing something weird with the version anyway in the end, but at least I should not have to modify any single one of the kit's parts...

I'll try to catch up over the coming week and start on the kit, be it whatever I end up doing. ;)

Best regards

Raoul G. Kunz

Well done Raoul,

The photos have all arrived, why not start a GB kit?

Something nice and simple and OOTB?

As Adam has said, just a "gentle kiss" on your GB, and you get to finish it!

Have fun whatever you choose

Best regards

Thanks everyone! :D

Good to be back and I have already two kits on my table - DML's IV H with Zimmerit for fun and a Tristar (yes, Tristar, but available today from the most gloriously named company ever: HoBo  ) Flakpanzer IA for the AA build.
And since we still have a year to go, maybe the Mk II Gundam Master Grade kit and/or a Guard Tank for the Sci-Fi build  .

Well... that was pretty much last post in the beforetime...

Then the end times occurred...

So I was... busy... very much so.
Actually more kind of regularly horrified on daily basis, from the commuting alone to all the customers we have to deal with at ~ 1.5meters all the time...

Anyhow, no I've been inoculated and am slowly unfreaking myself and slowly getting back to things from the beforetime such as getting my butt up and actually building something here...

I started another III, to be done ootb and already I'm changing things... thread up today (sun. 29th of August) or on the morrow.

Important thing is I'm actually doing something again, not only moping around being scarred white - takes up a ton of energy,

I'll try to catch up across the coming week with the state of affairs here.
