Hello from Finland!

Post by Mika Pietikäinen »

Hi!

Found this forum while googling some model reviews and looked like fun and positive people here so decided to register. I have done models on-off now for couple of years. My first kit (some old zvezda T-72) was a bit off-putting and that + no dedicated hobby space put this off for a while. Now larger space for this hobby and doing couple Tamiya kits has re-kindled my passion for this :)

I have mainly done 1/35 tanks (7 done atm), but also have couple airplanes waiting in the stash. My favourite tanks are the ones that doesn't look like "normal" tanks, for example: KV-2, ZSU-57-2, Flakpanzer Gepard etc.
Still lots to learn but slowly the end results are looking somewhat decent. Looking forward to chatting with you guys and maybe post a build diary at some point when I try to tackle Zvezda again with MSTA-S.

Welcome aboard Mika.
I built the Zvezda MSTA-S. It was a nice build, a bit tricky because of some fragile parts but I enjoyed it a lot.

Everyone is friendly and helpful here no matter what the model or scale you build for that matter. Good to have you on board.

Looks good Mark! I'm thinking about making three color camo on mine. And let's see what it looks when it's finished if I share some pics :)
