What to build II

Post by Adam Durrant »

Similar to a previous post, have pretty much cleared the workbench and am looking for a new project. I want to run with something in the stash. Here's a pic of the more modern production kits in my stash, armour only. Some older kits, aircraft and all my extras are stored elsewhere.

Nice stash :D I certainly know the feeling

From personal experience I can very much recommend the Rye Field Tiger. The Trumpeter E-10 is nice and easy and you can go wild with modifications and camouflage

Morning Adam

That sounds like a winner, is it PE Bed Springs?

Is there a ruined base to put it on too?

A quick April '45 Berlin scenario then?

Have fun

You have a nice selection of kits there Adam. ;)
The Meng Sherman in the centre of the shelf stands out to me or perhaps the Tamiya JS-2 hiding over on the left.

Cheers,
Vincent

The E-10 has merit, it would be a quick little build and I would be unlikely to lose interest.

The T-34/85 has PE bedspring armour and I have after market parts (Fruil tracks, PE set and barrel) as well.

The Meng Sherman is another of my kits where it is almost too nice to build, I will never do it justice, just like the RFM Tiger.

Hiding under the overhang of the top shelf there is also a HobbyBoss (t)35, Ammo’s 1/72 T-54, Panda Models BMD-3, another Tamiya Sherman.

If you really want to clear the stash, start one of your large Meng boxes. At least you'll have a visual feeling that the shelves are getting emptied.

A man after my own heart! The Smerch would clear out enough space to buy two more kits! :D
