Happy belated birthday Steve!

50 heads to paint? That is a lot of practice. I've been using the flesh colors from Vallejo's Panzer Aces line for a while and am generally happy with the results. I did just pick up AK Interactive's flesh colours set though and am looking forward to giving them a go.

Hi Matt,

Thanks and 50 is a lot, John Everett, told me to paint 12 heads and the 13th will be OK

So I just expanded it!

and the remainder of the practise team

I have about the same again somewhere in the attic and 30 packs of Hornet heads too

Masochist or what!

I tried the Panzer Aces flesh set but it was too dark, I'm back with 876 Sand Brown as a base.

You'll have to let us know how the AK set works out.

Regards

Looks like you certainly have enough to practice on. I'm hoping to get to some painting this weekend, I'll report back my findings.

Happy belated birthday Steve. That is an impressive collection of heads. I have AK, Ammo, Life color, and Vallejo paints. Vallejo paints by far work better for me.

I have so many different

I'm sure you have seen these but if not, these are about the best face painting videos I have seen.

Thanks Shawn

Surprisingly I haven't caught the Ortiz You Tube videos!

I shall watch them later in my so busy schedule

It is a little harder to apply in 1:35 but seems to be a logical approach with a great finish too.

Looks well worth watching

Thanks Shawn
