Re: Happy Birthday Raoul
Phew - finally got around to responding! - 'bout time!
So thanks for all the well wishes and congratulations Steve, Philipp, Vincent, Olivier, Mark, Justin, Adam and Michael!
Because everyone at work (as in the old master and the younger... that's 'em all ) was off on that very day at the guild electing a new... get this title... "Obermeister" translating as something like "Master in Chief" or more grandiosely "Supreme Master".... also sounds like it might be an off-brand Jägermeister fake as Philipp put it , an administrative position that the same bloke has held for the past 20 years because no one actually wants it, I had a free day on my birthday! Wee!
Also kind of meh because my better half was in Berlin on a training thingy that the Telekom had completely misunderstood and it was a near complete pointless exercise, but hey - Philipp came over, brought some tasty (also delicious and moist ) chocolate cake and some more plastic - some more because Steve here had sent over a suspiciously kit-box-looking package last week .
Anyhow - before we get to the photo it needs a little explanation as to the state of inebriation I was in when it was taken =>
(Steve's Birthday card by the way - unnervingly accurate )
Brought on, among several "Büble" beers, by this here implement of alcohol application
=>
(that's a new crystal decanter...with...erm... scotch-looking apple juice - reeeeeeeeally!...okay...scotch... )
Anyhow, here's the two presents in question... and a beard grooming set that cam from my in-laws
=>
The Armoured Dozer is from Steve - that will be awesome, maybe in combination with a road and a Tiger B?
=>
And the IV A with etched add on armour plating is form Philipp - I think this will be another IV in my collection to round out the iterations of the IV, I lack an A .
Best regards

Re: Happy Birthday Raoul
Glad you like it Raoul
Yeah, I suppose the chocolate cake was somewhat edible after I had scraped off the top layer of chocolate slag The semi-baked but surprisingly tasty core of the cake probably counts as a happy accident
Glad you like the IV A! Anyhow...with the recent release of a very good and very affordable final production King Tiger by Hobby Boss I think I know what to do for Christmas
