Happy New Year!
Still a bit early for most of us, except for you folks down on the wrong side of the world
I hope you all ad a good 2018, despite all the setbacks some of you have mentioned here, myself included.
Compared to last year I barely finished anything...2 shelf queens and a light tank:
Cheers to all of you who are still around to read this...to a better 2019!
Philipp

Happy New Year everybody!
I know I haven't exactly been around the site recently...
There where... complications in matters of family what with people being decidedly horrible and all that (actually the potential in-laws of my potential in-laws ).
So the Holidays where pretty much an exercise in annoyance, shutting up and dealing with it internally (never one of my strong suits to begin with, I'm more inclined to hitting people in the face with a glove and demand satisfaction... )... anyhow, I will have a week off and maybe can accomplish somehing for a change!
So the best wishes to everyone and a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone. Get to spend my first two days on call back to the hospital
On the bright side, the family has already gone (I’ll join them later) and the house is empty so I might get some Modelling underway!

Re: Happy New Year!
Hiya gang,
I'm just dropping in to say g'day, and to say i haven't forgotten you good chaps
Sorry to say i have zero model stuff to talk about. I have done nothing. I tried starting an ICM Model T Ambulance, but that has just fallen by the wayside I think i have bought a couple of modeling books this year, and that's about it for purchases. Oh, i did make use of Luckymodels $2 shipping fee last year. Kit's are still in transit as it is surface mail
Lot's going on in life. Work is a mad place, crazy busy and understaffed. And with Mavis and i moving, it's full steam ahead with all that stuff. The move will happen around April. It's a few months, but if 2019 goes as fast as 2018, we will be in Wollongong before we know it. Tenants in the Wollongong house have been given their marching orders, renovations have been planned and dates confirmed. And packing has started here.
I've managed to squeeze in a little bit of scuba diving, but nowhere near enough. That will happen when i get back to the coast
Anyway, hope you all had a nice xmas, and let's hope 2019 is as good as it can be for everyone

Re: Happy New Year!
Hi Philipp,
Thank you. This move is a big one and will be our last for a while. Once i get home, i will be staying home! Going home has been a long time overdue.
I've been packing books. I have roughly 3 standard size bookshelves of books. It's surprising how many boxes that takes Not as many boxes as my stash though
I think i need to have BIG kit sale

Happy New Year Woody
Getting rid of kits!
You will need something to do in retirement, once the excitement has settled.
Have fun finding all those,
"That's where I put it"" bits LOL
