So I found this:
The track and wheel arrangement make it look like a Hetzer. But the photo is just enough out of focus to be a photoshop. (The men on the tank for example are perfectly clear while there's plenty of dust in the air.)
Did the Hetzer run on diesel or gasoline. Any refueling from a US helicopter would be in the form of JetA or diesel. Are there small armies which might have taken a Hetzer and converted it to run on Diesel and installed a single point refueling nozzle?
My guess is Photoshop. But it's just weird enough to be real.
Is it a Hetzer? Is it a Photoshop?

It looks like a Chinese Type 63 APC, Iraq used these too.
By the way....am I the only one who thinks that refuelling a ground vehicle with a helicopter is insanely dangerous?

I just found a high resolution version of this picture. Quite an impressive sight.

To answer your original question, wartime Hetzers used gasoline engines. Swiss Hetzers used Swiss-made Diesel engines. Not sure about the Czechoslovakian vehicles though.

It is a Chinese APC. What you see is the front of the APC and not the rear of a Hetzer.

Great photo!!!
Not re-fueling, but that Super Stallion is coming in for a hook up to lift the AFV hulk. Hence the lifting chains attached to the AFV.
I tell you though, where those two guys are on top of the APC, that is one of the most dangerous places. If anything starts going wrong, they will be wishing they had of stayed in bed that day!!! Looks like the Stallion has come in pretty quick and that hook is swinging! And another thing i noticed, zooming in on that high res photo, the way they have just passed the chains through the lifting points (i think they are towing points and not lifting points) of the AFV......they are just asking for a disaster!!! Whaaa...that's a dodgy lift man!!
