Weld beads

Post by Edmund Forsythe »

Just messing around and came up with this idea . Take a brass tube about the same diameter of weld bead you want to simulate . Cutt off a comfortable piece for you . File the one end or both at angle to attain a haft circle . You use this to push the softened stretched sprue to simulate the beads . Different size beads different size tubes . You make what you need . Just dip it in liquid cement every so often as your doing the bead .

That's actually a pretty good idea. May try that on my next tank.

It worked for me , if it works for you pass it on . And I believe it will work on putty also not just stretched sprue .
