Hi chaps,
I know we are all familiar with the technique using salt for chipping.
Here is a good video of it being used for rusting a model. What i did find interesting, and was why i thought this should be shared, was the use of spraying through a sponge to get that patchy effect. Now that is a good idea

I subscribe to this guys channel, he has some great technical tips. Got to agree with the spraying through the sponge technique, I used it on the Hetzer build to defuse the rust tones. Works well.

Looks like a great series of videos, the sponge/spray seems to be an alternative
to the stiff bristle brush flick..
