This British Wartime colour was used from April 1944 and was intended to closely match US Olive Drab to avoid the need to repaint US vehicles used by British and Commonwealth forces. It is generally described as being somewhat greener than Olive drab.
As for SCCNo2 Mike Starmer is credited for researching and publishing the authentic shade using Tamiya paint mixes

As for the SCC2 thread, I've attempted to use the Mike Starmer Tamiya mix to compare with OTC paint offerings.
Key
1) Mike Starmer Tamiya mix - 5 pts XF 61 + 2pts XF62 + 2 pts XF3
2) Mig Ammo - SCC15
3) Mig Ammo SCC15 : Yellow Grey 4 : 1
4) Hataka SCC15
5) Xtracolor - Briish Khaki Drab
6) Vallejo Model Air 71020 German Green
7) Vallejo MA 71017 Russian Green
8) Vallejo MA 71011 Tank Green
9) Tamiya Mix Rick Lawler (http://ricklawler-propaganda.com/propag ... ii-margie/
Comment
The Mike Starmer Tamiya mix is dark Olive drabbish
The Mig Ammo colour neat is darker and greener still. Cut $ : ! with Yellow Grey it lightens and gets closer to the Tamiya shade. Experimenting with other yellows might take it closer
The Hataka is closer to Olive Drab
The Xtracolor shade is lighter green and might represent a "faded" SCC15
Both The Vallejo Model Air colours at 6 & 7 ( German Green and Russian Green) are acceptably close.
The Vallejo Tank Green (8) is less close
I included the attractive Rick Lawler colour which uses different Tamiya paints. I tried XF 73 : XF 71 at 2 : 1 but probably would increase to 3 : 1 for another acceptable Faded variation on SCC15
Conclusion
None of the proprietary SCC15 paints are an exact match for the Mike Starmer Tamiya mix. However the colour variation for several is probably acceptable within the parameters of wartime and field use.

Two missing, the Lifecolor Khaki Olve drab and Tamiyas Khaki drab.
It makes a big difference to see them side to side.

10= Vallejo Model Color Olive Grey : Russian Green 1 : 1
11= Vallejo Model Air German Green : Field Green 2 : 1
12= Lifecolor Khaki Olive Drab
13= Vallejo Model Air German Green ; Tank Green 1 : 1
14= Vallejo model Air German Green : Tank Green 3 : 1
IMHO - 14 wins it. It is virtually identical to the Mike Starmer Tamiya mix for SCC15.
The other shades provide useful altenatives for different vehicles and I'll use to represent differential wear and fading etc. It's just useful to have a colour reference and being as lazy as I am _ I prefr using the Vallejo or Mig Ammo dropper bottles.
The Khaki Olive drab seems a long way off.
And this comes here largely as as a reference to myself :
British Light Mud (Italian theatre)
Mig Ammo colours:
Yellow Grey : IDF Green : Graugrun : Grey 56 = 2 : 1 : 1 : 1

Excellent guide Rob. Completely agree about the Mike Starmer Tamiya mix being the best out of them all.
