Nice purchases boys

Shawn, I have always struggled painting Alpine heads, they are so smooth and need a real artistic skill to get a good result!

If you do one can you share?

Steve- I have painted two Alpine heads. They were not to bad, but I do prefer Hornet heads.

A few assorted purchases

Here is the most important 1 to 1 scale that we just recently finished. :D :D It is 18ft x 36ft. The deep end is 9 feet deep.

I built the fence that you see in the back ground in about 3 weeks. It almost killed me 8-)

38- 4x4 post with 120lbs of concrete per post
110- 2x4
650- cedar fence pickets with 6 screws per picket.
4560lbs - of concrete that I mixed by hand in a wheel barrow for the posts.

Nice haul Shawn

That is quite a ""back yard""

You really would be OK in a lockdown as long as the weather is OK.

Thats one hell of a load of concrete too.

How are you guys doing?

Trump seems to have lost the plot when we see him on the TV.

Take care and be safe

Looks like the Greyhound is on the build list of the wheels and steering set are anything to go by!

Nice work on the pool, once you have a house with one you will never go back. Having built fences as a holiday job when I was younger, I feel your pain, and blisters!

Steve- We are doing alright. Both my wife and I work in the medical field so this COVID 19 has us really on edge. Luckily we live in a rural community in South Carolina. We only have 6 cases in our community so far. But I know there are many, many more. We are having a hard time getting testing supplies in the State. Plus our idiot of a Governor will not issue a stay at home order. He had strongly encourage it and has closed down many business. Not that it would matter because people around us dont understand what stay at home means. Neighborhood kids are all playing together, which is making my son miserable because we wont let him.

Trump is Trump, but I have to vote for him again because he is a Republican and all the Democrats want to take our guns away.

Adam- The Grey Hound is always on the list, but I have to say I am enjoying the 250/8 a lot because Its out of the box.

I have had three people in the neighborhood come up wanting me to build a fence for them. There is no way. Mine about killed me.

Oh the beauty of a two party system... plague or cholera, right? ;)

We have plague, cholera, pestilence, diabetes, cancer and other assorted unpleasantness to choose from  .

Doesn't matter in the end anyway because Grand Coalition State... even if it doesn't rule nominally the state representation will inevitably make this an unofficial state of affairs :? .

The pool though... now that's awesome!

Best regards

We have all those in the US as well.

The pool definitely makes isolating at home much more tolerable.

Okay, this was from the same order and acquisition phase like Philipp's stuff.. I...err... I was somewhat unresponsive , I'm working 10 hour days currently under circumstances which are.. err.. not fun, what with level II masks, hour long time-frames for customers... errr, I think I moped about this already

ANYHOW - there's stuff!

Like an A7...AT-AT 1:144 from Bandai - and as I might have mentioned when building Master Grade Gundam kits: Bandai owns mechs... they just excel in this field of weirdness.
Image

Honestly - it's an A7V with greebies :lol: =>
Image

Among those greebies are... things we know... like... this =>
Image

Ever seen these shields somewhere?
Image

PewPew!
Image

Actually comes with a base. =>
Image

I also got myself a couple of colours. =>
Image
Some of those I'll need to paint all the guardsmen for the Baneblade...

And then there's... this... I bought those figures without any true plan where and how to use them aside from the fact that they look weirdly like some people I might know...all three...and while my profile photo proves this for me I would probably crucified if I post the proof for my better half (exists... though stating that alone is probably enough to get me killed  ) and cats.. well... are cats

Nice haul Raoul

The modulation sets are good, I've used the dunkelgelb.

More cats, there's a surprise!

Be strong and keep modelling
