Re: Latest additions

Not a thread I have participated in recently

BUT

I have a slight change in the usual faire, which is bigger in real life than I had expected!

If I do get to retire this year, still under consultation, as I am still on a sick note with my new knee, I want to do something different.
I built my last aeroplane in 1969, then I discovered Airfix's 1:72 Stug III G in Woolworth's for 3/6, which is 17 1/2p in new money.
I really want the 1:32 Revell Arado sea plane, which is the larger scale version of my last aeroplane built, but its proving a little elusive, I followed one on E- bay but £52 is too much, even for nostalgia.
I'll persevere

Oooooh the temptation  The size of 1/32 planes scares me the most, among minor things like painting the cockpit and creating a flawless finish without mud to hide errors

In other news, found this thing on Ebay for 40€, compared to 60-80€ regular:

The box is HUGE:

It comes with full interior and clear hull and turret parts....won't need either but it's good to have it

I am scared too Philipp!

There are so many videos and SBS's on You Tube these days, it is worth a try and I have always tried to be precise with my work.

Checking reviews too is good, as quite a few 1:32 aeroplane kits are not that accurate and have poor fit issues!

What a surprise that is!

Clear parts for the hull and turret!

Andy's Hobby workshop has some great ldeas for displaying them so you can access and view the full interior

Or are you not going to use it?

RFM seem to have more Tigers than Dragon now? or soon

Good start to 2020

The clear parts have the same details as the regular ones, so I'll most likely use them to upgrade some older kits

As for the interior, I don't think I'll use it, but if I were to....how about this?

Hey Philipp, aircraft do get dirty and muddy. Especially when they make a belly landing in a nice boggy field

Nice model catches their fellas.

Always love a Spitfire. Looking forward to that one Steve :D

Hi Woody

I should come clean as that is the 2nd 1:32 Revell Spitfire I have acquired!

The other I got as a ""Christmas"" present from the 4 cats LOL

Along all the accessories I could find, masks, wheels and nearly everything Barracuda do in resin, and Eduard do in photo etch.

So I'll use any duplication's for a Mk I version, or scratch the bits I need once I have done the research.

Whats your next project?

Regards
