:D its in two halves gary,you put brass rod between the two and clamp shut and bend,they are realy quite expensive brandnew from missionmodels/historex at around £39,got this one for around £21 on ebay :D

That's a useful tool Phill, i've seen those advertised but i didn't realise how expensive they were :|

Have a look at this from Trumpeter http://www.scalemates.com/products/prod ... ?id=218717

I have them and they do work okay but haven't used them on a model yet.

Much cheaper.
