Very nice Adam.
I also made a big Mini art purchase. I pray they are doing well but unfortunately I think we will see a shortage of Mini art kits in the future. The Grant is amazing and may be the next build.

Fizzing a bit about this one. Have always loved the failure that was the M247 “Sgt York”. I built the Tamiya offering as a kid, and was excitied when Takom announced this one.
It’s a big box, stuffed with styrene. All other kits may be on hold for a while…..

Not something you see every day Adam....have you started it yet?
Some new items for the library...
Ever since my French AMX Sherman build I've taken a liking to the early M50, which were basically still in WW2 configuration except for the gun upgrade. DEF Model has announced a reissue of their M50 turret conversion, once that's out I'll get to work It's my first book by Dr. Manasherob and I'm fairly certain a few more will follow....lots of good photos and plenty 1/35 scale line drawings.
Came across this one while searching for the M50 book above.....yeah, that might happen too Covers not just the Israeli imports from the 80s but also all the other Shermans else the Chileans had.
And finally...one more from Mr Doyle's ongoing series. If nothing else, it's a good cheap source for photo references.

Re: Latest additions
Got these two gentlemen from Ebay for 12 Euros...not each, for both!
I couldn't find any reference to a manufacturer, so I assume it's the work of some semi-professional amateur with a good 3D printer.
They arrived like this - the "scaffolding" came off easily enough, far simpler than removing mould lines on a plastic figure.
There were some small imperfections due to the supports sticking together with the figure, as usual it looks much more dramatic on the photo than in real life. Nothing a sharp scalpel blade or some fine sandpaper won't solve.
I think the binoculars might have had straps, but it seems I removed them along with the supports before I even knew they were there.
You can see some fine print lines on the photo, but I hope a layer of paint will hide it. I tried my luck smoothing it out with various solvents, but nothing so far had any effect on the material.

Birthday present from my other half. Vargas was the only company I could find that did a decent 1/35 Bob Semple tank.
I haven’t worked with 3D printed resin kits, I’ve also yet to open the boxes as they arrived just as I left the country for a bit!I'm a serial kit starter....
