Me again...

Bits and pieces for the next projects:

I've never used any products by Bolddivision before, but I'm impressed:

Both the boy and the tank commander will accompany the Summer 45 King Tiger from my last shameful post here...

....unless this will cause me to change plans:

The book is really nice, lots of development history, detail changes and even reference photos from preserved tanks.

I don't have a T-54 kit yet, but I can see this change....Maybe a T-54-1...or a Tiran

Peer pressure at work! :P

Nah, I just stumbled across this one on Amazon. I don't know what bizarre software glitch caused it, but it was on sale for about 20 Euros.

This is the version without an interior. The box is still stuffed to the rim

Got these off TradeMe (NZs homegrown version of eBay). Verlinden stuff was totally unobtainable when I was a kid due to the cost and I've always wanted to build the Calliope kit. I know there are complete kits out there now, but something about "do it yourself" appeals to me!

Nice catch Adam :D

With Verlinden out of business and all moulds probably lost forever it's wise to grab what you can. Besides, the only alternative is the ancient Italeri kit. I have a couple spare launchers, let me know if you need one

Thanks Phil, even by today’s standards the mold quality is really good. I’m keeping an eye on TradeMe for any of his stuff. I thought Royal Models took over some of his production?

The last thing I saw of Verlinden were waste containers filled with unsold products. Haven't heard or seen anything from Royal Models in that regard yet.

Some of the Verlinden stuff is 20 times better than anything Legends as done. I am mostly talking about not having the HUGE pour lugs. However, my best example is the FN MAGS. Everyone one of my Legends version has had broken barrels where none of my Verlinden versions have.

Hate when you buy stuff and realise you already have a set (PET bottles)!

Nice haul Adam

The plastic bottles look good as I think I'll need some for my T34/85

You will have to get a scalemate stash log, I'll need to do it too, after a similar faux pas.

I bought 2nd copy of the 503 tiger book!

Off to find those plastic cans
