Another masterpiece if you pardon the pun

Love the base and the house, the sports car is excellent and the figures are at the top of your game

Are you using oils again for your heads?

What did you use for the bandage for the sling it looks spot on and to scale too

And another iF not comic, but well told story

You really are a master builder and story teller, John

The figures are a range of about three or four painting techniques. Although I haven't tried the Canvin Tan "black base" yet. Three faces are acrylic and the remainder are oil. I'm finding that oil is just easier with skin tones. I like the way it behaves as compared to acrylic. The uniforms are both oil and acrylic. I deliberately painted certain figures with harsh color boundaries (the Walking soldier holding the portrait), as well as acrylic with a filter to tone down the harshness (the squatting figure applying bandages). The Germans are straight oils.

The bandages are Kleenex facial tissue, a single layer peeled away from the main sheet and cut with scissors. Simple! A little water applied with a paintbrush and it's locked in place.

Another master piece for sure John. Everything is just amazing, but best of all the story line that we have come to expect from you.

Can only agree with the team. Masterpiece - so much to see - some Brilliant modelling with that wry background story. And an immense amount of work uniformly excellent
