Just a pain because each one will inevitably end up being a different length. However, it makes the model more realistic.

Mine arrived today. Both kits feature the Mantlet cover. However, it is a 3 piece affair so I will hold onto my Def conversion until I can see if it is adaptable to the Takom kits. Also, if you buy off EvilBay there are sellers listing the M47 (2070) as a 2 in 1. I am not sure what this means but it DOES NOT mean you can make an M model from kit 2070. I already don't like the track as I personally despise Link length. They do include what appears to be a track form inside both kits. All of the sprues I looked over are gorgeous. Hope to maybe get some snaps done for you all this evening.

Possible. Trying to figure if I want to haul this to Maine with me.

Thank for the preview Mark. I could buy one to build it as a French one at Suez in 1956.

There are lots of neat possibilities with either of these kits.

I hope the decal companies will finally release a couple good sets for the M47

One of these would be nice too
