Woohoo! Fast Tank mini group build! 8-)

My Model 1935 kit has marking options for the same unit, with the same cross on the turret...might do just the same :mrgreen:

Thanks Shawn & Greg! I knew it was all a matter of getting used to :lol: My other BT-7 will be green, I promise! :mrgreen:

The poor sod in the driver's seat is still figuring out which lever makes this thing go :roll:

First day back at work today after the ear troubles, so don't be surprised if my build speed drops slightly :lol:

Here's an idea concerning said diorama base - what do you think?

"Jawohl!"

"...uh...how?" :?

Very nice little base Philipp and at long last a job for Mr. Pointing Officer Guy! :mrgreen:

Meanwhile I've been busy finishing the build and starting to paint the '37 model BT-7 :D -

First step: finish build =>
Image

Second step: various greens for some colour modulation (I skipped the base coat of grey here, it's...grey ;) )=>
Image

And then it got complicated... :? The air recognition stripes turned out slightly problematic simply because the turret already has a lot of the offending detail moulded on (and it's very nice, no question, but it makes masking really annoying... :roll: ).
This led to roughly four to five steps of masking the stripes, re-masking the blotched components or "invert-masking" ( :roll: ) the white stripes in order to repair the "three greens" that form the base... but now it's more or less done ;) .
