Tamiya 6x6 Cargo Truck

I started this kit as soon as I finished the Takom Whippet. I was looking for something simple to build OOB so I could get into some weathering. This Tamiya kit was definitely easy to put together. Sure, some of the details are simplified and could be improved on with aftermarket if you choose, but that's not what I wanted to do. I did fill the cargo bed with fuel drums from Tamiya accessory sets though. Unfortunately, I didn't take any in progress shots either. Sorry.

Very nice work Vincent! Definite proof you don't need to rebuild half a kit with aftermarket to get a good result.

Logistics are a sorely overlooked subject, we should definitely build more "boring" stuff

Thanks Philipp, I'm glad you like it. One of the reasons I like Tamiya kits is that you can get a good result without having to use lots of aftermarket. Trucks and trailers do have a certain appeal I think, regardless of the era.
