M4A2 Emcha with 122mm D-25T

Post by Bryan Krueger »

This is a what-if build based on a single drawing of a M4A2 Sherman with a proposed 85mm gun.

This is a 122mm D-25T armed Sherman.

I replaced the ill fitting kit tracks with Panda T-49s. Soviet Lend Lease Shermans were not ever shipped with duckbill extended end connectors. There is a photo in Son Of Sherman Vol. 1 with field welded on "U" channel in place of duckbills. I chopped evergreen styrene into little pieces and carefully glued them to the Panda tracks.

Stowage is a mix of various aftermarket and epoxy putty tarps. The Dragon Maxim MG was detailed with bits of styrene and PE extras.
