Re: Tamiya StuG III Ausf. G, Winter 43/44
Took me long enough, but I finally finished this thing:

The wooden base is covered with natural earth, Green Stuff World Snow Powder and grass tufts of various makes. the infantryman is from Stalingrad (the company, not the city). The stowage on the Stug is a wild mixture of leftovers from the spares box.
Thanks for looking...whoever is still looking
Philipp

I like that.
Very effective winter atmosphere you have created with the slightly worn whitewash and snow covered ground.
Did you add the snow first then add the grass clumps or glue the grass clumps first then add the snow?

Thank you gentlemen
First I worked out the basic terrain with household filler, then I glued the grass tufts onto that. I then brushed some diluted white glue around them and sprinkled the snow powder on top. The Green Stuff snow is a very fine powder, so it covers everything easily. Where necessary I repeated the procedure several times until I reached the thickness I wanted.
