It looks suitably dirty for what you have planned Philipp 😁

Welcome back

I had a bit of an artistic blockade when it came to painting the road and fountain. I now ended up with this, with more weathering to be added:

Another mildly terrifying step was adding water to the fountain, I just hope I can get the clear plastic off again  I've ordered water effects gel from Vallejo to add some splashes and waves to the top layer. Until then I need to build up a very thin layer each day and wait for it to fully dry before adding the next.

Time for a long overdue update

As ambitious as the fountain base was, in the end I wasn't really happy with it, so I made a new one. It's a bit more generic, but I hope all the flowers make up for that  I have a few ideas for the fountain base, potentially involving Tamiya's new Kettenkrad

The new figure is from Tamiya, with a Hornet head. I think a standing figure gives a better impression of how insanely small this car really is.

I promise the cat and its friend will find a new place of honour on another project

And here it is, my first finished project in my new home

I'd take some proper photos for the gallery, but I threw away all my cardboard backgrounds during the move and I can't seem to find any new ones around here....

Anyhow, here are some quick shots taken on my desk:

Nice little vignette. The flowers add an interesting contrast to a wartime scene.

Well done Philipp. :) The scene has come together nicely. I like the look of the dirt road too.
