I bought this kit as an “order filler” a while back. For the princely sum of $20 I couldn’t pass it up. It’s a pretty basic kit, a small fret of PE, and a small parts count. The detail is a bit soft, but it is a very early kit from the manufacturer and their quality has improved significantly.
The Ka-Mi is at the oils stage so just needed a quick, OOB, to fill in a lazy day.

You will have fun with this kit Adam. I built one many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

…and I’m done. Fit is OK apart from the torsion bar arms which are a bit rubbish, but hidden by the large road wheels. There as a ton of flash to remove and a large amount of mold lines. Not shown are the PE side skirts which I have left off.
The track options are new or old style, both as rubber band style or indie links for a total of four sets of tracks. They are a bit rubbish, I may end up buying AM links just to avoid the frustration….

Great work Adam
Sadly the replacement tracks will undoubtably cost more than the kit!
Once they are painted muddied and set in a base, I am sure they will be OK
Have fun either way
Nice one

That was fast Will you add the side skirts or leave it as it is?
The "old" style tracks are actually late war lightweight Panzer IV tracks. If you don't use them for this build, they could be useful for a Jagdpanzer IV or something similar.
I built one when it came out new, but never painted it. I should fix that some day

This one may have an early exit to the shelf of shame. The tracks for the Ka-Mi have arrived and a project I have been dying to revisit since I was a kid is about to turn up!
