Worn paint around the stowage boxes where they would have been lifted by the crew and tools painted. Note that the flail frame was glued too high and is wrong anyway........

Here's when things started to go off plan and I had to adjust the weathering and refit parts to cover my mistakes!
Flail frame modified and moved lower, PTO added, heavy mud weathering to disguise the terribly moulded tracks and chalk boxes removed because the scale fixings I made were just too fragile so kept coming off, track still need more mud.

Flail chains added.
A tedious task that I could've skipped by buying some chain but this is a learning exercise and although not totally accurate it does make a fair representation.
Construction was originally with thinner wire but it was more awkward to work with so i opted for thicker which speeded up the process without sacrificing too much accuracy, I then added lead fishing shot to represent the flail balls.

I did toy with the idea of modelling the flail in motion but that would've meant closing all the hatches for it to make sense so i opted for it being stationary.
