Re: Gebirgsjager - German Mountain troops.
Sorry for my lack of participation on the site. My mother in law has been ill for the last several months. A few weeks ago she had a significant stroke affecting her left side. Her and her husband are in their 80's and have been living with us and she requires total care. I have been making a lot of progress and doing updates on facebook only because of how easy it is to post and attach pictures.
Anyways here is the progress. Hoping to finish it up in the next week or so.
Base
Figures
Finally the horse. This was so much fun to paint and I am really happy with the results.
Thanks
Shawn

That looks amazing as always Shawn!
I'm sorry to hear about your Mother in law. I hope she's doing a little better?
I don't know if you're aware, but there's a function to attach photos directly to your post without an external host. Possibly makes things a little easier.

Hi Shawn,
I hope your Mother in law is going to be ok. It's tough watching family members suffer.
The cliff face is very impressive, it looks real to me. The figures are great as usual, you have lost none of your flair painting them, but the horse is really impressive. Well done.

I did not know you could attach photo directly from your phone. I will have to try to figure out how to do that.Philipp Gross wrote: ↑12 Jan 2021, 21:25 That looks amazing as always Shawn!

I am super excited how the horse came out. I spent a few days on it.Vincent Power wrote: ↑12 Jan 2021, 23:37 Hi Shawn,

Re: Gebirgsjager - German Mountain troops.
I finished this several weeks ago. Once I take some better pictures I will send them to Philipp for the Gallery.
My wife's mom passed away a few weeks ago so obviously there has been a lot going on in our lives other than model building.
Here are the final pictures. I have to say this has been one of the most enjoyable builds that I have done in awhile.

I'm sorry for your loss Shawn. I can imagine these weren't easy days for you and your wife.
Your finished diorama is fantastic as always. I'm looking forward to see the 'proper' photos
