Makes it easier not having any more winter figures in stock. :D Well done with the build.

Winter crew figures, that is

I added an infantry NCO (Dragon 6513) to give the commander some company, but that's all I'm going to add. There's still a slim hope I get this finished before winter is over

Nice choice of figures Philipp

Looks natural, should be OK in Winter camo on a whitewash finish

Have fun with the extra modelling time in lockdown

Thank you Steve!

Basecoat is on:

I'm still undecided how to do the whitewash, so far I'm tempted to try white pigments again. Worked nicely on my Jagdpanzer IV long ago... Opinions?

Hi Philipp

The pigments worked well with the Zimmerit, perhaps the hair spray/chipping fluid as there is no zim?

Have fun either way

The result on the Jagdpanzer IV was great Philipp. :) Maybe start with the chipping fluid method then finish with the pigments?

Thanks everyone!

I'm still not comfortable with chipping fluid, so I'll try pigments first. If it fails, there's always oven cleaner

Love the natural looking figures and the base color is perfect.

The one nice thing about hairspray technique, if it doesn't work out, just soak the thing in warm water an it will all dissolve off.
