You wonder how it ever turned. I remember seeing an episode of the Tank Museum on YouTube where they talked about a formula tank designers use that takes into account the length of track in contact with the ground, the width of the vehicle and the width of the track. Supposedly the TOG series of British tanks ignored this formula and essentially ran in a straight line!
