Thank you Vincent. Till yesterday I would have said the kit is not perfect but it is buildable. Today I encounter some disappointment. I intended to close the rear door. This is impossible without some heavy surgery to the door itself or the rear plate. It is far easier to let it open. I had to fill some heat sinks which was time consuming. I will have to modify some parts because of poor fit. Fortunately all this is just time consuming like decyphering the instructions in some steps. At one step Kinetic show a drawing of the Canadian RG31 and the next step you have a drawing of the US RG31 without the Canadian specific parts. This does not help place some parts.Vincent Power wrote: ↑05 Sep 2020, 01:26 Nice Olivier, it's coming along quickly. What do you think of the kit so far?

I gave up on building a Kenetic plane kit recently because the instructions were so poor and parts depicted were not actually included...I feel your pain

Despite the kit inaccuracies and the vague instructions I managed to do some progress. The RWS is not glued yet. I'm not happy with it and I'm hesitating to buy a better one by AFV Club. Will see. I'm not sure this kit deserves more money.

With the technology available today there is no excuse for poor fitting kits. You have been a trooper though proceeding with the build. I would have probably given up by now. Have fun paining it.

No way that I give up Philipp
Here is where I'm right now. The base paint is on, some details are painted as well. I still need to glue the PE lights protections. Then I'll shift to the decal application followed by the weathering.

Re: Kinetic Canadian RG31 mk3 with RWS
I applied the decals today. The good point is Kinetic give some stencils.
The bad points are vague instructions, some too large decals nearly useless, one of the large heads is missing (according to the instructions you need four large and one small while you get three large only and two small).
I intended to use a C6 to replace the kit poor M2 HMG but the right cradle is missing. I need to source a correct M2 to put on the RWS. Concerning the antennas, according to the instructions, the vehicle depicted only has the antennas on the roof T brackets.
I'd like to add some water cans and fuel cans in the right side stowage shelf. Can I use US models? The only "Canadian" ones I have are the odd two handles type and other with straps.

The end is close. I need to add the MG. Unfortunately I don't have anything better than the kit one. I have a couple of MAG but would need an adaptor to put it on the RWS.
I'll try to add the cables to the antennas too.

Not enough familiar with that to answer Shawn. Maybe a Canadian member could say it.
