Re: BT-2 Model 1932
Upon closer inspection of the few available photos it appears the first batch of BT-2 didn't have vision slits in the turret sides. The circular shape on the roof seems absent too. Oh well, more putty, more sanding...
Primer next?

Re: BT-2 Model 1932
I'm so glad I don't usually get caught up in specifics things like removing vision ports. I already do enough to slow my builds down. Like spending 20 hours on one figure.
Philipp- The build looks great and I really like how the tracks are stored.

Re: BT-2 Model 1932
What did you use for filler? I recently had a lot of issues with Tamiya Grey putty on the KV-Too. I went over the same spots 3-4 times. It kept shrinking after I sanded it even though I waited at least a day. I should have gouged it out and used epoxy putty at the first sign of trouble.

Re: BT-2 Model 1932
I used Revell putty since Tamiya isn't much available around here. Not sure what it's made of, but it can be thinned with styrene glue. It's shrinking too, next time I'll let it dry for a couple days instead of ~12 hours before I sand.

Re: BT-2 Model 1932
With the Kugelblitz out of the way I'm trying to get my bench cleared of the various started projects...
Base coat is Tamiya NATO Green, the turret number is sprayed with an Eduard stencil.
Yeah, looks like I need to redo the turret viewport once again...
