Thanks Philipp

Moving forward with the cabin. I used 1/2" foam board for the walls, Plastic sheets for the roof and some wood for the chimney. This gives me a great foundation to work with.

Carpenters arrived early to work on the cabin. Hopefully the stone masons will get to work later this afternoon.

The base has been made as well.

Masons arrived and completed the chimney.

Just like my previous build I used Magic sculpt to do the stone work. I used a tooth brush to give it some texture then a small screw driver to make the stones. Its time consuming but you really get some great results.

Really good start on that building. Are you working from a photo or just making it up?

It may look easy but this has consumed the last three days of my life.

I saw a photo that inspired me regarding the stone work on the bottom and then wood siding above the stone work. But as far as the stone work and sculpting, I make it up as I go.

I finished the rest of the stone work yesterday and now I'm at work for 24 hrs. Hopefully I can move forward tomorrow.
