Dragon Sd. kfz. 250/8
After spending many. many days thinking about what I wanted to build next, this little gem just kept calling to me. I know its another half track. A couple things that made this appealing to me was its small size and the fact I don't have any extra PE for it, so the build will mostly be out of the box.
This is a Dragon Premium Edition kit which includes some PE, Gen 2 equipment and Magic Tracks. There is a lot of plastic in this kit but as usual with Dragon several of the pieces will not be used.
I spent some times the last two days working on it. I have to say this has really been enjoyable so far. As always the magic tracks were a pleasure to work with. The tires have some great detail and consisted of 6 pieces.
There is some really nice detail. I have built several sub-assemblies. I may have to do some painting before gluing everything in place. Time will tell.

Thanks for letting me know Steve. That was really weird. I could see them on my computer but when I looked on my phone they were not there. It should be fixed now.

It's fixed!
Very nice, I should really build a 250 at some point, they are kind of cool - little weirdo SD-251s with all the same options, just smaller .
While I like the (unnecessarily) elaborate old one, the n.A. has it's own brute (if still completely overcomplicated but it's German... ) beauty!
Best regards

Nice start. Those tracks look like they would have been a chore.

Re: Dragon Sd. kfz. 250/8
Thanks Raoul and Philipp.
Bryan- The tracks were not bad at all. There were two ejector marks on each track that just required a light sanding. Honesty I don't know if it was necessary or not. After the sanding was done it only took about an hour to assembly them.
Well It was time to do the time consuming part of the build. All the equipment inside the hull. It took me all day to get this done. But now I am ready to apply some paint to the interior. PE just really slow things down for sure.

Good start Shawn. The Dragon 250 kits are very nice if I remember correctly.
