Excellent work all around Vincent. Especially the zimmerit and the tracks. Looking forward to the white wash. I am getting ready to do a very light white wash on my scout car.

Thanks Shawn. :) I've learnt a lot doing this one. The tracks were my biggest concern at the start of the project but they have been one of the easiest parts so far. ;)

The first whitewash is on. :) The washable white from Ammo I was going to use had seperated in the bottle so I substituted Vallejo Modelair white instead. I only sprayed a thin coat to make chipping easier and I am going to add more layers.

I think you can see the beginnings of the scruffy finish I'm going for. Maybe if you squint a bit?
Anyway, it's back to the bench for me.

Nice start Vincent, a few more mottled layers and a few oils and it will look sweet!

I've made some progress on the weathering front. I've added some mapping of the whitewash and added some pin washes. I have also started adding some dirt washes using enamels. This is where I'm at right now.
Let's look at the hull first.

and now the turret.

I'll let this lot dry then continue with some more layers.
Thanks for looking. :)

Looks absolutely perfect already :D

I guess the Zimmerit isn't as brittle as you had feared?

Thanks Philipp. Yes, it's holding up better than I hoped. So far I've only had one small patch start to break up and I managed to overcome that. :)

Thanks Steve. I'm not sure about mastered but I have learned a lot about applying it. ;)
