StuG III Ausf F8
As if I don't have enough projects, I started this one last week. I have a couple of PE sets and bags of StuG/PzIII accessories to use on the kit.
I started assembling the Voyager PE Fender set and after about 5 hours I've made it this far. That's enough. I'll stick with the kit fenders. Most reference photos of F8s during winter show fairly intact fenders.

Nobody will shame you here for too many projects
Nice work so far! The plastic fenders look perfectly adequate, unless you planned to do some serious damage.

"You're with friends now."
Thanks Philipp. I've been wanting to build this one for a long time.

You did that in a week?! I don't know where you fellas find the time
Nice work. I like the look of the Stug. That squat low profile. It just says ambush all over.

I have some paint applied to the Stug. I've never painted this scheme before and its more complicated than I thought it would be to get the colors right. It's still not quite right and will adjust with some filters.

It will get a worn whitewash applied but won't be too dirty.

Re: StuG III Ausf F8
I think I sprayed the base color 2-3 times until i was happy and the spots are several layers of different green shades
I found a recipe online that called for RAL8020 to be a 60/40 mix of Tamiya Buff and Flat Flesh. I added a little bit of Deck Tan to cut down the pink and added a little white to fade the color.
The same online recipe then suggested adding Khaki to the custom RAL8020 mix to obtain RAL7027. Yeah, that did not work. It turned brown. Someone on FB posted a color chip and I found a bottle of Tamiya colors I mixed maybe 5 years ago but I have no idea of the paints used. I modified this and hoped for the best. My best suggestion for Tamiya colors would be to start with their RLM02 grey green and add some of the 8020 and a little white to tone it down.
