Couple of thoughts I have had about this build....

- the box states all hatches can be posed open or closed. There are two hatches, the drivers and the rear door for the gunner and commander. The rear door is moulded into the rear panel and would require a razor saw and a complete rebuild. The drivers hatch is a separate piece but again would require a complete rebuild. Therefore not sure how true this box top statement is.

- for a light tank this thing is huge. It’s essentially a modified APC but it’s bigger than a T-72. :?

Have made steady progress on this. Tracks are on and weathered in situ using a Tamiya "dust" wash as per Martin Kovac's recipe. Chipping done, light chips with dark centres, mainly done using a 5/0 brush over several sessions. I am making the assumption from the limited information available that the hull and armour are composite so will add streaked grime but not a lot of rust. I'm depicting this as a trials vehicle assigned to Queen Alexandra's Mounted Rifles (QAMR) and they have tested it hard! The bull insignia has previously been used by QAMR, so I have resurrected it for this build, ie I had the decals in the stash! :D

I'd like to get this one off the bench soon, its getting crowded!

Amazingly well done Adam!

The whole thing just looks unreal for lack of a better term

I've watched a few of Mr Kovac's videos and they are quite inspirational. The urge to paint something is rising

I am trying to build one of these but in the nato green scheme. What color did you paint the tracks and wheels?

Very nice Adam

NightShift is certainly turning weathering and chipping upside down.

I shall try it on my Pz IV soon

It must be Spring getting the painting sap rising!

Looks good

I painted the wheels in the light Grey color, it all ended up covered by the side skirts anyway.

Had to bin this one, I totally lost my mojo for this build. Everything I tried made it look more comical, so for the sake of the bench space it went into the bin..... :?
