Thanks Vincent. I guess that I could add some more dust when I can resume the weathering.
One of your fellow citizens told me the Australian dust was more orange. I will see if I can get the right shade later.

Thank you Shawn. Both models are now stowed in their box waiting for the move.

Hey Olivier, this pair looks great 8-)

The Aussie cam colours seem to be a hard one to match. Not bad on yours though. With a dusting i think they will tone down and look pretty darn good

I see somewhere along the way you realised the left side roundel was on backwards. Nice catch. I do think Showcase got the right side roundel off in colour, but you should be able to mute the colour with the weathering.

As to dusting the vehicles, i think you could have a fair bit of variety to play with. As Adam said, Australia has some really red dirt. But colours really vary a lot. I have about 10 containers of dust that are all different shades. All taken from armoured vehicles and all taken from an area of about 50 square km's. So, a google search would be helpful. When i get a moment when the sun is out i shall take a photo of what i have.

Nice work though. I am very partial to an ASLAV :P Out of M113, M1A1 Abrams and ASLAV, i love driving the ASLAV the most 8-)

Hi all,
the move is over even though there still are tons of work to do in the house. However I managed to spare some time to finish those two beasts.
The ASLAV has been more weathered while the Bushmaster remains in quite a pristine condition.

Nice work Olivier, love the Bushmaster, the AusCam on the soft furnishings (spare wheel cover, mudguards) is excellent :D
