Magnificent work on the interior Darren! :D

(I suppose you have been told this a lot already but speaking from bitter experience I can tell you that it simply takes time, a lot of it to cope with loss, so take your time, don't let anyone claim that you "should be over it already", that's an attitude held only by those who've yet to encounter and realise the truths and implications of mortality.)

Funny you should mention updates Shawn.

One Maybach HL230 P30 engine under construction.

The HL230 P30 was a water cooled, 23 litre, V12 gasoline engine. 9,000 HL230 engine's were produced by Maybach, Auto Union and Daimler-Benz.

Started painting the engine. The colour is about a right match for the engine I'm copying.

Thank you Michael

The motor is now complete. The Maybach HL230 P30 was a re-bored HL210 P30 to increase the displacement from 21,000cc to 23,000cc. During production of the HL230 the maximum rpm was reduced to 2500 by the factory. There were two versions of the HL230, the P30 as used in the Panther and King Tiger and Jagdtiger and the P45, as used in the Mid and Late Tiger's and the Sturmtiger.

The only decals that come for the engine in the kit is the data plate on the engine at the front. The label for the air filter's came from my decal bank.
