Re: KV U-19
I've created a number of profiles to study marking options. It's kinda hard to decide. I'm leaning towards the white stripe and small red star but this would put the U-19 in a time frame that would be difficult to place it at. I like the large red star and this feels like something from a video game The large slogan and number are probably the most universal.

For my 2c, either of the two with the slogan look good to my eye.
I'm a serial kit starter....

The slogan and the number profile looks the best to me. The large white stripe would be a nice aiming point for the enemy gunners

The tank is the size of a house. The whole thing is an easy target.Olivier Carneau wrote: ↑15 Mar 2018, 19:47 ... The large white stripe would be a nice aiming point for the enemy gunners
The number and slogan are from a Montex mask set I have on order. Should get something figured out next week.

Thanks Steve!
Markings , filters, a wash, and chipping applied. Also started some basic weathering.

Finally finished the beast.
Finished with oils, enamels and pigments. The sheer size of the slab sides made weathering this thing a bit of a challenge.

Thanks Philipp!
At least they didn't release one while I was scratch building it.
