Said it before and I'll say it again, amazing work Olivier, the kit manufacturer's wouldn't recognise their own creation!

To be honest, I don't know if they have ever looked at their modelAdam Durrant wrote: ↑05 Nov 2017, 05:21 Said it before and I'll say it again, amazing work Olivier, the kit manufacturer's wouldn't recognise their own creation!
Here are the results of some hours of work yesterday on the tools and the headlights. I still need to find out a solution to make the headlgith guards which Alanger omitted!

Re: Alanger 2S9
Thank you Steve.
Here are the latest/last pics of the building step. However I still need to fix the ugly front convoy lights which are molded offset by Alanger. Then the painting can begin.

Great work!
I've heard lots of horror stories about their kits. Looks like you did an amazing job.

Thank you Steve.
I would call this kit a toy more than a horror. For sure this is not a gem
OK let's go to the paint booth. The base color is XF-67 NATO Green and the tracks are painted XF-85 Dark Iron.
Stay tuned

That’s all come together beautifully Olivier. Interested to follow your track weathering process, it’s an area I still can’t get right !

Here it is with the tracks attached. They are basically weathered but still need some work.
The rubber mudflaps have been added after the tracks were in place.

Re: Alanger 2S9
All that extra work has paid off Olivier
I don't know about Alanger not having seen their model, I think it's more a case of them not having seen the real thing
