Indeed a bizarre design, yet the various KV-4 design studies were even worse. Here's a nice overview by some WOT person: http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php? ... proposals/

And a nice overview with all designs here.

Trumpeter, you listening?

Here are some images of the KV-5. The mud is a little redder than I would have wanted and may go back and adjust it.

Thanks guys! Out here in the Colorado, the ground color is way different. The climate is a lot drier so there isn't as much organic matter until you get to the plains so the soil tends to be a lot lighter. We have a lot of granite from the eroding mountain dust that has worked its way into the earth so its also a little sandy. When it snows, it usually melts, or just evaporates, in a few days. So I don't have personal reference for a muddy European country side. Thanks for the input.

I've used Google Street View to determine the appropriate mud colour for various regions. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad sign :?

There's an idea for the new website Philipp, in the Resources section we could have a sub section on terrain. Anyone visiting an area could post some representative pics.
